Obituary of Daniel Breskin
Cheshire Daniel A. Breskin, 67, of Carriage Dr. passed away Monday July 21, 2008 at St. Marys Hospital. He was the husband of Myrna (Weiner) Breskin. Mr. Breskin was born July 21, 1941 in New York City the son of the late Lester and Pearl (Averick) Breskin. He attended the Julliard School of Music, where he played the flute, and went on to receive a degree in economics from New York University. Besides his wife of 41 years, Mr. Breskin is survived by his two sons Peter and Andrew, both of Cheshire; a sister Lisa Breskin Rudikoff of Poughkeepsie, NY; his cousin David Gilbert and his niece Joyce Weiner and nephew David Weiner who were very active in his life and many other nieces and nephews, as well as many longtime close friends. Daniel died from complications of MS, a disease he handled with dignity, grace, and a wonderful sense of humor for twenty years. The loss of his ability to continue as a musician did not diminish his lifelong appreciation of music. He was also a devoted student of history and politics and was hopeful that this next election would bring back the country that he loved so dearly. Arrangements Funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
