Obituary of Dorothy Aranda

Mrs. Dorothy B. (Wheeler)(Ryan) Aranda, 87, of New Britain died Wednesday September 3, 2008 at New Britain General Hospital. She was the widow of Thomas P. Ryan and Vincent Aranda. Mrs. Aranda was born December 20, 1920 in Winsted a daughter of the late John Newton and Sara (Smith) Wheeler. She was a factory worker for many years prior to her retirement. She leaves her sons, Thomas P. Ryan and his wife Debbie of Pembroke Pines, FL. And John V. Ryan, Sr. and his wife Barbara of Naugatuck, her daughter Bonnie Egan and her husband Marty of Waterbury, her grandchildren, Mary A. McGinn, John V. Ryan, Jr., James J. Ryan, Catherine M. Ryan, John F. Carroll, III, Christopher J. Carroll and many great grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held in New Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterbury. There are no calling hours.
