Be part of the conversation addressing the opioid crisis in our community.
Each of us can have a role in the prevention and treatment of the misuse of opioids.
Objectives for this program:
The attendees will:
Describe the physiological basis of addiction
Develop knowledge of community resources for prevention and treatment of addiction
Identify the signs of addiction
Identify the signs of overdose
Identify how to obtain and learn how to administer Narcan®
Describe the process of bill development in the CT legislature(PA-16-43)
