Obituary of Nicholas A. Daigle

BEACON FALLS – Nicholas A. Daigle, 37, passed away in his home on Friday, May 19, 2017.

Nick was born December 20, 1979, in Derby. He is survived by his parents, Arthur Daigle Jr. and Debra (Russell) Daigle of Beacon Falls; his sister, Lisa Daigle of Chicago, IL; and his grandfather, Nathan Russell of Beacon Falls.

He was raised in Beacon Falls and served as a Correctional Officer for the State of Connecticut for the past 15 years.

Nick was a dedicated son and grandson, devoted brother, and loving friend to all who knew him. He was devoted to his family and could make anyone laugh. He loved live music and festivals, reading, and watching the Chicago Bears (even when they were terrible). More than anything, he loved being with his family, friends, and colleagues. He was as sincere as he was funny; both traits made him an easy man to love.

He was predeceased by his grandfather Arthur Daigle and grandmothers Michaelena (Celia) Daigle and Helen (Groccia) Russell.

He was a luminous being and will be missed by all who knew him.
