I met Gene at a track meet that Alyssa and Harvest were running in last year. We spoke about the adventure of parenting teens. He was proud to tell me about his girls' personalities and interests, and possible career paths. Gene talked to me about his decision to work in health care and the rewarding feeling of caring for others.
