Obituary of Alyda Weaving

Mrs. Alyda Lee (Enamait) (Zapatka) Weaving formerly of 33 Fairwood Road, died Saturday April 5, 2008 at the Beacon Brook Health Center. She was the widow of Stanley Zapatka and Russell Weaving, Sr. Mrs. Weaving was born in Naugatuck a daughter of the late John and Mary (Deitchman) Enamait and has been a lifelong resident of Naugatuck and Beacon Falls. She was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and Post College. She had worked at U.S. Rubber and the Homer D. Bronson Co. retiring in 1974 after many years of service. Mrs. Weaving was a member of Saint Pauls Lutheran Church. She leaves her son, John Zapatka and his wife Nancy of Beacon Falls, her daughter, Sandy Robinson and her husband Earl of Naugatuck, four grandchildren, Susan Zapatka and Missy Zapatka both of Beacon Falls, Heather Grillo and her husband Tony of Beacon Falls and Matthew Knapik of Virginia Beach, Va and three great grandchildren, Jared Grillo, Sydney Grillo and Joshua Knapik. Funeral services for Mrs. Weaving will be held at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours.
