Obituary of Elizabeth Milton

Cheshire Elizabeth A. Milton, 92, passed away peacefully Sunday April 6, 2008 at Highlands Health Care Center in Cheshire with her three daughters by her side. She was the wife of the late Charles A. Milton of Spring Lake New Jersey. Mrs. Milton was born December 2, 1915 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Bernard and Catherine (McEnroe) OConnor, both of Ireland. She was a communicant of St. Catherines Church in Spring Lake, NJ. She was an avid golfer who resided in New Jersey before moving to Southwick in Cheshire in the late 1990s. Mrs. Milton is survived by her three daughters Catherine Stone and her husband Robert of Cheshire, Eileen Milton of Worcester, MA and Barbara Brumbaugh and her husband Harry of Fremont, CA; seven grandchildren: Gina DOttavio, Cara (DOttavio) Garber, Jill (Brumbaugh) Bekaert, Diana Brumbaugh, Jennifer (Stone) Grasso, Robert DOttavio, and Eleanor (Stone) Race; and thirteen great grandchildren. Arrangements A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday April 10, 2008 at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St., Cheshire, at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
