Obituary of Dorothy Pitts

Cheshire Dorothy G. Pitts, 83, formerly of Ives Hill Ct. passed away Saturday April 12, 2008 at Elim Park in Cheshire. Mrs. Pitts was born January 3, 1925 in Wyandotte, MI. She moved to Cheshire in 1995 from Chicago. She enjoyed the outdoors and bike trails where she was an avid biker and walker. Mrs. Pitts was also an avid gardener.She is survived by her daughter Barbara Marroquin of Cheshire; three grandchildren Inness Hanson of Cheshire, Darla Pitts of Chicago and Cyrus Pitts of Coldwater, MI. She was predeceased by her son Kevin who passed away in 2004. Arrangements A memorial service will be held on Wednesday April 16, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Grace Baptist Church, 55 Country Club Rd., Cheshire. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 7p.m. at the Slater Funeral Home 242 S. Main St., Cheshire.
