Obituary of Carl Bawn

NAUGATUCK - Carl V. Bawn 86, passed away on April 29,2008 at the Cheshire House Nursing Center in Waterbury. Carl was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Cecelia (Kent) Bawn. Mr. Bawn was born on January 31,1922 in Lewiston, PA. He was the son of the late Vincent and Mary (Collins) Bawn. He was active in local and council Boy Scouts for many years and was an active member of the Congregational Church of Naugatuck .He was a retired chemical engineer for over 40 years with the Uniroyal Chemical Co. in Naugatuck. Mr.Bawn was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army. He is survived by one son Dennis and his wife Rosemary Bawn of Stow, MA and their children Emily and Andrew .A daughter Susan and her husband Dennis Alaimo of Holliston, MA. and their children Keith, Molly and Dean. He is also predeceased by a sister Ernestine L. Bawn of Burnham ,PA. Arrangements - Funeral services will be held Saturday May 3,2008 at 1:00 pm at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St.. Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 10 to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Mount Rock Hill Cemetery, Burnham, PA
