I was introduced to Kacy through a prayer circle. My deepest sympathy to the family in the loss of their sweet angel. She has made an impact on my life as I am sure she has touched the soul of many who have prayed for her. Kacey's work as the Lord's angel continues for all who have come to know her through virtual communications. My prayers continue that you find strength and peace.

Dear Glen and Christina, The news about Kacey's death brought back a flood of memories of when my son Sean died. I just sat here in my office and cried along with you. No one can really know how another really feels at a time like this, but I understand the pain, the heartbreak, the sense of loss and confusion you are feeling right now. I can assure you that while you will never stop thinking about Kacey and missing her, the pain you are feeling now will subside with time. Try to take some measure of comfort in knowing that you did all that you could and made all of the right decisions on her behalf. Also know that She is no longer suffering and that by the Grace of God you will see her again one day, as I know I will see Sean. My love and prayers go out to you both. May God grant you peace quickly. You are two fantastic parents. Bruce

I have followed Kacey's story for a long time and as a mother of a childhood cancer warrior, I wanted to send my condolences at this tough time. Parents are just as courageuos and brave as their children for being so strong throughout all the sickness and procedures and just by sticking to their child's side. I cannot imagine what you are feeling, but know I am thinking of you and praying for you every day. Love from Nova Scotia, Canada.

Glen & Kristina - I am sure Glen does not remember me, I am your cousin.(we moved to Wis. in 1972) My mother is Joan Cashman, who is Joe Mitchells sister. Anyway, we moved to Wisconsin in 1972 and don't get to see our cousins too often anymore - I heard about the loss of your beautiful little girl & wanted to let you know I share in your grief. I too lost children, a set of twins shortly after birth and my adult son almost two years ago now. I understand the pain you are going through and do sympathize with you. I know it is early now but do know the intense grief will fade - in time - You have precious memories to help you get through. Take care, you are in my thoughts. Your cousin Sherrie

Dear Glen, Kristina and Max, Dave and I are heartbroken for you over Kacey's loss. Although we never had the chance to meet her in person, we really got to know her through the posts on the website and to know what a special and loved child she was (and will always be). She fought hard and courageously to give both you and her as much time as possible together. She was loved and loved you all so much. You all will always be in our thoughts and prayers and please know that the world was a better place for at least having known Kacey, albeit to short a time. With much love and sympathy, David & Pamela Howe

Glen and Kristina: Your family has been through so much, I wish you all peace in your hearts and minds as time goes on. I also hope you had the blessing of feeling Kacey's peace. That in itself is comforting. Saying 'I'm Sorry' just doesn't seem like enough. Lisa always sent me your blog updates; you have been incredible parents and you shouldn't forget that. I will be out of town the day of the services. My regrets for not being able to attend. Your family is in my prayers.

Kacey's family, I found Kacey on caringbridge and my prayers have been with you. I can't imagine your pain, but your little angel is safe, happy, and well in the arms of Jesus. This is not good bye from Kacey, but 'I'll see you later'. That is why it is so important to keep the Christian faith - so that Kacey's loved ones will see her again. I don't know such pain as you are experiencing. My prayers are with you. Kathy from LA.

To Kacey's family ~ I learned of Kacey's brave fight through a prayer circle I was part of. These last days, I have thought of her often because, at this time last year, I was letting my Mom go to the Lord. Your little angel is, I'm sure, spreading joy and smiles in heaven and, as someone else said in these posts, is looking down and watching over all of you. May God bless you and give you the strength and peace you need at this tough time.

Dear Kristina and Glen, Your miracle on earth is now God's angel in heaven. We cannot understand it, but clearly God had bigger plans for Kacey. No more pain, only beautiful happy days for her. Kacey will live on forever - in your hearts and the many hearts she touched so gently. She will always be your special angel and will never forget your love for her. We pray you take comfort from all that love you and that God gives you strength to get through the times ahead. Love, Nancy and Emily

My thoughts & prayers are with you all. I am so very sorry about Kacey Rose. I learned of her site by someone signing Holly Tilley's site in Greensboro NC. Holly suffered from AML as well. She was only 2 wks from BMT when she relapsed. I will be attending her funeral today. This scripture comes to mind II TIM 4: 7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. Kacey Rose & Holly have finished the race ahead of the rest of us. There is no more suffering, chemo ,& bone marrow biopsies up there. She is healed and there is peace, joy and happiness. Again, I am so very sorry for your loss...May God give you peace and comfort in the time to come. Love & prayers Michelle Ridge (my daughter had AML 13 yrs ago at age 1)
