Obituary of Margarita Cubero

The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury 9 Holmes Ave Waterbury, CT 06710 1-203-753-5112 Waterbury- Margarita Cubero, 73, of 2 North Main Street Apt 12J passed away May 6th 2008 at Mid- State Medical Center in Meriden. She was pre-deceased by her husband Thomas Cubero. Margarita was born July 10th 1934 in Guayama, PR and was the daughter of Juana (Santiago) and Juan Roman. Margarita came from Puerto Rico to Brooklyn, New York when she was fourteen. She resided in New York until 1982 when she moved to Waterbury. Margarita is survived by her son Antonio and his wife Carmen Cubero of Waterbury, CT. She is survived by her daughters Judi and her husband Nestor Cubero-Rosario of Waterbury, CT, and Lisa and her husband John Cubero-Alton of Lehigh Acres, FL. She is survived by her twin sister Felicita and her husband Fransico Sanchez of Brooklyn, NY. Margarita is also survived by nine grandchildren Jennifer, Jasmin, Daniel, Christina, JR, Jahaira, Cecilia, Brianna, Desiree, and two great-grandchildren Devin, and Julian. Arrangements- Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 10th, 2008 at 11 A.M at The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, Waterbury, CT 06710. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends and family may call the funeral home Friday, May 9th 2008 from 5 to 8 P.M.
