Obituary of Lucy Brady

Watertown Lucy H. Brady, 90, formerly of Linkfield Rd. passed away May 10, 2008 at St. Marys Hospital. She was the widow of Robert F. Brady.Mrs. Brady was born January 6, 1918 in Waterbury the daughter of the late John and Caroline (Czkneski) Rama. She was employed for many years at St. Marys Hospital in the dietary division until her retirement in 1998.She was a former communicant of St Francis Xavier and Our Lady of Lourdes in Waterbury. She was a member of the Ladies A.O.H. in Waterbury, St. Francis Xavier Ladies Guild and the Polish Junior League. She was an avid fan of both the Red Sox and UCONN Womens Basketball. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing cards, baking and gardening.She is survived by her son Robert F. Brady and his wife Marcia of Watertown; her daughters Patricia Jurevich and her husband Alex of Waterbury and Mary Ellen Chanda and her husband Robert of Plainfield NJ; five grandchildren Susan Ambadjes and her husband James, Sandra Redzep and her husband Moe, Albert Vagnini Jr., Krista Paolillo and her husband Stefano and Brandon Brady and his wife Jean; four great grandchildren Steven, Alexis, Victoria and Christopher. She is predeceased by her brother Hilary Rama and sister Jean Kelly. Arrangements Funeral services will be held on Thursday May15, 2008, 8:15 from the Mulville Funeral Home 270 West Main St., Waterbury to St. Mary Magdalen Church for mass at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery, Waterbury. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
