Obituary of Marguerite Strollo

Cheshire Marguerite E. Strollo, 98, formerly of Jarvis St. passed away Thursday May 15, 2008. She was the widow of Philip Strollo. Mrs. Strollo was born January 30, 1910 in Waterbury the daughter of the late Arnold and Julia (George) Nigro. She was a graduate of Crosby High School and Perry Business School. She was an office manager for Colonial Sand and Gravel in Waterbury and had worked with her son at Anthony Strollo and Sons in Cheshire for over 20 years. Mrs Strollo is survived by her three sons, Anthony and his wife Anita of Cheshire, Philip and his wife Diana of Cheshire and Arnold and his wife Janice of Woodbury; a sister Marie Iannatuoni of Cheshire; she was also pre-deceased by a sister Susan Strollo of Cheshire. Nine grandchildren David Strollo, Donna Zentek, Bryan Strollo, Bridget Michaels, Paul Strollo, Dana Barros, Melissa Yard, Jesse Strollo and Sephanie Strollo; and twelve great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.. Arrangements Funeral services will be held at 10am Monday at Church of the Epiphany Huckins Rd., Cheshire. Friends and family are asked to meet at the church. Burial will follow at St. Bridget Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
