Obituary of Robert Brodeur
Cheshire Robert Joseph Brodeur, 90, formally of Wolf Hill Rd. Cheshire passed away May 22, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. He was the husband of the late Margaret Mary Brodeur. Mr. Brodeur was born April 15, 1918 the son of the late William and Lydia (Belanger) Brodeur. He was a long time Cheshire resident and a communicant of ST. Bridget Church. He was a tool and die maker and one of the founding partners in Toolcraft Engineering of Waterbury. Mr. Brodeur was also a WWII veteran of the US Navy serving on the USS Noa. Mr. Brodeur is survived by his two sons William T. Brodeur and his wife Sally of Sullivan County, NY and Brian R. Brodeur and his wife Sandra Clark of Middleborough, MA; a daughter Lorraine Brodeur and her husband William Lavernoich of Tolland; and three grandchildren David, Alex, and Becky. Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 27, 2008 9:15 from the Slater Funeral Home, 242 S. Main St., Cheshire to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
