Obituary of Raymond Marcoux

Naugatuck; Raymond T. Marcoux 89 of Wildwood Circ. Passed away peacefully on June 2,2008 at the Abbott Terrace Health Care Center. He was the husband of Dolores (Oric) Marcoux. Mr.Marcoux was born in Waterbury on October 6,1918 and was the son of the late Clifford and Bertha Marcoux. He was the owner and founder of the Raypax Co. in Prospect since 1960.Raymond was pilot and loved flying. He also was an avid boater and enjoyed his 2 cats. Besides his wife, he leaves 2 sons Craig R.and his wife Lee Marcoux of Middlebury and Craig F. and his wife Debra Palmer of Banton Ct. 3 daughters Dr.Colleen A.Palmer of Hartford, Cheryl B. Palmer of Sanfransico CA. and Christine E.and her husband John Mariah of West Nyack ,Ny 2 brothers Norman Marcoux of Watertown and Roger Marcoux of Wolcott. Raymond also leaves 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandaughter.He is predeceased by a brother Morris Marcoux. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Waterbury Hospital and Abbott Terrace for there support. Arrangements; A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday June 6, at St.Francis of Assisi Church 318 Church St, Naugatuck at 11:00 Am. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family .In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck 201 Meadow St. is in charge of arrangements
