Obituary of Hazel Zwiebel

Mrs. Hazel (Miller) Zwiebel, 93, of Waterbury died Wednesday June 4, 2008 at the Abbott Terrace Health Center. She was the widow of Robert F. Zwiebel, Sr. Mrs. Zwiebel was born November 12, 1914 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Fredrick and Emma (Brandsteadt) Miller and was a lifelong Waterbury resident. She was educated in Waterbury Schools and was an inspector at Wheeler Electronics retiring in 1980 after 25 years of service. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Waterbury. She leaves her son, Robert F. Zwiebel, Jr. of Waterbury, her daughter Joy Judd and her husband Peter of Biddeford, ME, 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Zwiebel will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury 9 Holmes Avenue. Burial will be at the convenience of her family.
