Obituary of Rosemary Keefe

Mrs. Rosemary (Carroll) (Barstis) Keefe, 82, of Naugatuck, formerly of Waterbury and the Glendale Center died Tuesday June 10, 2008 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Peter Barstis and Michael J. Keefe. Mrs. Keefe was born October 3, 1925 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Andrew and Bessie (Comber) Carroll and lived in Waterbury most of her life. She attended Waterbury schools and was employed at the Holgraph Company of Cheshire retiring after 27 years of service. She enjoyed ceramics, bowling and her cat Mr. Murphy. She leaves her daughter Kathleen Ayotte of Naugatuck, her brother, Andrew Carroll of Prospect, her grandson, Peter Cherubini, Jr. and her great grandchildren, Noah Peter and Sophia Catherine Cherubini. She was predeceased by her brother Gordon Carroll and her sister Betty Bouteiller. Funeral services for Mrs. Keefe will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Mulville Funeral Home 270 West Main Street. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
