Obituary of Theresa Estes

Mrs. Theresa M. (Hanlon) Estes, 94, formerly of Naugatuck, died Thursday June 13, 2008 at the Marathon Health Care in Prospect. She was the widow of John W. Estes who died in 2000. Mrs. Estes was born in Naugatuck, July 13, 1913, a daughter of the late Hubert and Nellie (Monahan) Hanlon and was a Naugatuck resident for most of her life. She was educated in the local school system and retired in 1975 from Uniroyal-Footwear with over 25 years of service. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church, and a former member of the Naugatuck Chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons. She is survived by her niece, Ann L. Graveline of Wolcott. Arrangements - All services will be private, with burial in Grove Cemetery, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is in charge of arrangements.
