Obituary of Lorraine Morin

Cheshire Lorraine Bonnie V. Morin, 76, of E. Mitchell Ave. and formerly of Mountain Rd., passed away June 13, 2008 at Mid-State Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Morin to whom she was married to for over 50 years. Mrs. Morin was born August 20, 1931 in Waterbury the daughter of the late Conrad and Lillian (Kelly) Vigeant. She was a Wilby High School graduate and a long time communicant of St. Bridget Church. Lorraine worked for several years as a Credit Manager and Bank Loan Officer in Waterbury. She was a former Brownie leader at Chapman School and V.F.W. Post #10052 past ladies Auxiliary President. She was an avid Yankee fan, enjoyed playing setback and spending time with relatives and friends. Mrs. Morin is survived by her daughter Michelle Tarca and her husband Dan of Cheshire; the light and joy of her life, her grandson John Robert Tarca and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Phyllis. Arrangements Funeral services will be held on Thursday 9:15 from the Slater Funeral Home, 242 S. Main St., Cheshire to St. Bridget Church for mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
