Obituary of Rene Otis

Mr. Rene Joseph Otis, 50, of 41 Idleview Dr, Naugatuck, died Monday morning June 23, 2008 in West Hartford as a result of an accident. Mr. Otis was born in Barre, Vt., April 27, 1958, a son of Mrs. Antoinette (Campbell) Otis and the late Eugene P. Otis. He was educated in the Barre, Vt. School system and was a 1976 graduate of Spaulding High School. Besides his mother of East Barre, Vt., he leaves two brothers, John L Otis of Southbury, and Roger Otis of Barre, Vt.; two sisters, Renette Cressey of Fort Mill, S.C., and Rita Harvey of Plainfield, Vt. and his two cats, Sally and Alice. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 28th at 12 noon at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 25 Great Hill Rd., Oxford, with the Rev. Bruce Steinway, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is assisting with arrangements.
