Obituary of Madeline Davies
Madeline H. (Babcock) Davies, 92, of 162 South Britain Rd, Southbury, CT passed away peacefully Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury. She was the widow of Ronald R. Davies. Madeline was born August 7th, 1915 in Waterbury, CT, and was the daughter of the late Edna (Bunnell) and Robert A. Babcock. She attended Wilby High School in Waterbury, CT. She worked at Eyelet Specialty, a division of International Silver as a Foot Press Operator prior to her retirement in 1977. Madeline was an avid reader, she faithfully donated blood to the Red Cross, and always encouraged others to do the same. Spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the highlights of her life. Madeline is survived by her son Norman and his wife Carol Beecher of Wallingford, CT, her daughter Donna (Davies) and her husband Ronald Roncarti of Southbury, CT, her Sister-In-Laws Helen Davies and Marge Davies both of Florida, her four Grandchildren Dina, Karen, Michael, and Robin, and her seven Great-Grandchildren, Samantha, Jamie, Seth, Hope, Morgan, Taylor, and Brandon. She is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews. Madeline was pre-deceased by her daughter Betty Klimosauskas, and her sisters Mildred, Hazel, Edna, and Betty. Arrangements- There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service in celebration of Maddies life will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
