Obituary of Michael Salvatore

Cheshire Michael H. Salvatore, 97, of Oak Ave. passed away Sunday July 6, 2008 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mary K. Salvatore. Mr. Salvatore was born January 9, 1911 in Cheshire the son of the late Dominick and Marrie (Antaion) Salvatore. He worked at Mattatuck Manufacturing for 32 years until his retirement in 1973. He was a life long Cheshire resident and communicant of St. Bridget Church. Mr. Salvatore is survived by his son Michael J. Salvatore and his wife Anna Mae of Cheshire; his daughter Mary E. Salvatore of Cheshire; his two granddaughters Michele Kosciuk and her husband Danny of Durham and Anne Epstein and her husband Jason of New York City; and one great grandchild Grey Epstein. He is predeceased by his three brothers James, Alsantre, and George, and his two sisters Angeline and Flora; and his foster daughter Linda M. Finger. Arrangements Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 9, 2008 9:15 from the Slater Funeral Home to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery.
