Dear family of Hyacinth.. We are very sad to hear of Hyacinth's passing. We were neighbors of Hyacinth and Harold for many years in the Spring Lake area of Wallingford. Often we have wondered where they had gone. We watch the obituaries and now see that Hyacinth has gone to be with the Lord. She had a very long life as my Mom Julia (joan's mom)did. We never knew what had become of Harold and now read that he is also gone from this Earth. A few times had spoken to Hyacinth in 1988 when Joan walked Sarah around the neighborhood in a carriage and mostly spoke to Harold. A very sweet couple. Always the house and gardens were in great shape where they lived. The picture here and in the newspaper reminds me of how Hyacinth looked even in the 80's and early 90's: a lovely, dear woman indeed. We still live on Grieb Trail and when passing their big white house on the corner often think of Hyacinth and Harold. May they be together with the Lord now in Heavenly peace.
