Obituary of Margaret Joyce

McLean, Virginia; Margaret Theresa Joyce, 80 formerly of Cheshire Ct died on June 26,2008 at the Fairfax Nursing Center. Peggy was born in Waterbury on August 7,1927 and was the daughter of Patrick and Mary Bridget (Griffin) Joyce. She attended Humiston School , graduating from Crosby and Post College. She worked for the Federal Government, working and traveling in many foreign countries. She is survived by a brother, Brendan, of San Jose, CA. and 1 cousin Theresa (Griffin) Wallace of Cheshire, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by 3 sisters Anne Joyce , Sara (Norberta) Brady, and Mary Joyce. A graveside service will be held in St. Bridgets Cemetery in Cheshire on Wednesday July 9, 2008 at 11:15 am. There are no calling hours. The Slater Funeral Home 242 South Main St Cheshire is in charge of arrangements.
