Obituary of Gaetan Brouard

Mr. Gaetan Joseph Brouard, 58, of 507 Spring St., died Friday July 11, 2008 at St. Marys Hospital. He was the husband of Katherine (Hanratty) Brouard. Mr. Brouard was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, Nov. 19, 1949, a son of Robert and Venice LaPointe) Brouard of Disreali, Quebec, Canada and had been a Naugatuck resident for the past 11 years, moving here from Florida. Besides his wife of 7 years, and his parents, he leaves his daughters; Brittany Monroe of Naugatuck, Monique Burt of New Hampshire, Martinique Brouard, Tammy Brouard and Gislaine Saucerman all of Florida; two step-children, Kathleen Calloway of New Britain, and Sean Calloway of Wethersfield; one brother John Jean-Luc Brouard of Waterbury;4 sisters-in-law, Betty Brouard, Nancy Carreilo, Mary Watkins, Irene Vasquez and 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 19th at 12 noon at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St.. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Canada.
