Obituary of Harriet Dzierzawski

Mrs. Harriet (Tylinski) Dzierzawski, 90, of Cheshire, CT. formerly of Chicago, died Wednesday July 16, 2008 at the Highlands Health Care Center in Cheshire. She was the widow of Henry Dzierzawski. Mrs. Dzierzawski was born April 30, 1918 in Chicago, a daughter of the late Waclaw and Mary Tylinski and has lived in Cheshire since 1987. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and reading. She leaves her son, Dennis Dzierzawski of Alexandria, VA, her sister-in-law, Ruth VanNatta of Chicago and two grandsons, Darren and Kevin Dzierzawski. She was predeceased by her brother, Henry Tylinski. Funeral services will be held Thursday July 24 at 11 a.m.at the Otto V. Stransky and Son Funeral Home 5112 South Western Avenue Chicago, IL. Calling hours in Chicago will be held on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Auburn Memorial Park. Calling hours will be held in Cheshire, CT on Saturday July 19 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Slater Funeral Home 242 South Main Street.
