Obituary of Albert Wilson
NAUGATUCK- Mr. Albert David Wilson, 53, of 800 Osborn Rd. died early Monday morning Aug. 4, 2008 at St. Marys Hospital. He was the husband of Holly (Brozak) Wilson. Mr. Wilson was born in Derby, June 4, 1955, a son of the late John A. and Frances E. (Sanford) Wilson and was a graduate of Emmett OBrien Regional Technical School and had been a Naugatuck resident since 1984. He was a member of the Beacon Falls Congregational Church and was employed by the BIC Corp. of Milford, as a Machinist/ Toolmaker until his medical retirement in December. He was a Native American, having been Schaghticoke Indian. His hobbies included racing go-carts in his younger years, and NASCAR racing. He also had an interest in stock car racing having been part owner of a racing car # 43, and driving in Demolition Derbys in Agawam, Mass. He enjoyed the outdoors and hiking and was considered a Free Spirit by his family and friends. He was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed his help. Beside his wife, he leaves his children, Justin Wilson, Philena Wilson, and Erick Wilson all of Naugatuck; one brother James Wilson of Putney, Vt. and was predeceased by a sister, Charlotte and a brother, John Wilson, Jr.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be in Pines Bridge Cemetery, Beacon Falls.
