Obituary of Jerome Leinfuss

Mr. Jerome K. Leinfuss, 82, of Waterbury and formerly of Boca Raton, FL, died Friday September 12, 2008 at Saint Marys Hospital. He was the husband of the late Rita (Goldstein) Leinfuss. Mr. Leinfuss was born February 1, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York a son of the late Samuel and Lena (Pinkus) Leinfuss and has been a Waterbury resident for over 30 years. He was an educated in Brooklyn schools and was a Sales Liquidator for many years prior to his retirement. Mr. Lein fuss was a veteran serving during WW II. He leaves his sons, Fred Leinfuss of Scotch Plains, NJ and Roy Leinfuss of Fairplay, CO, his daughters, Beth Jane Leinfuss of Coconut Creek, FL and Janet Barnhart of Babylon, NY, his brother, Paul Leinfuss of Sarasota, FL and his grandchildren, Adam Barnhart and Stacy Leinfuss. A graveside service for Mr. Leinfuss will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Hebrew Benefit Cemetery, Stillson Road in Waterbury. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury 9 Holmes Avenue has care of arrangements.
