Obituary of Sherman Kahn

THE ALDERSON FUNERAL HOME OF WATERBURY 9 HOLMES AVE WATERBURY, CT 06710 1-(203)-753-5112 Waterbury- Sherman Kahn, 68, of 116 Beth Lane, Waterbury, passed away Sunday September 21, 2008 at The Abbott Terrace Health Center in Waterbury. He was the husband of Jeanne Marie Kahn whom he was married to for 25 years. Sherman was born December 15, 1939 in Waterbury. He was the son of the late Benjamin David and Roslyn ( Kassler) Kahn. Sherman was employed at Caldors as a Manager until his retirement in 1995. Following his retirement he was employed at First Student as a Bus Driver. Sherman was a member of the BNai Shalom Synagogue located in Waterbury. Besides his wife Sherman is survived by his six sons, Anthony Jr. and his wife Wendy of Plantsville, CT, Adam and his wife Michelle Pratt of Waterbury, CT, Christopher and his wife Bobbie Jo Pratt of Waterbury, CT, Daniel Sr. and his wife Stacey Pratt of Wolcott, CT, Steven and his wife Janice Kahn of Gaston, NC, and Jeffrey and his wife Dana Kahn of Thomaston, CT. He is also survived by ten grandchildren. Arrangements- Funeral Services for Sherman will be held Tuesday September 23, at The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, Waterbury at 1 P.M.
