I was reading the Cheshire Herald and noticed a picture I recognized from some 25 years ago. Your mother was my son's OT that many years ago. He has Asperger's syndrome and the work she did with him has made a major difference in his life. She was a kind gentle soul who always had a kind word for a mother who was very worried at the time. I often would see her walking around Cheshire and would smile and think of how kind she was to us. I can only imagine what a wonderful mother she was.

Kristen and Matthew, We were very sad to learn of your mothers passing. We know no words that can take away the pain, however we do know there is a great deal of comfort knowing how many lives your mom has helped and consoled. To us, she was a great friend and church buddy. We will remember all the good times we shared, all the projects that we both worked on and for the her sense of humor. Love from the Farleys'

I worked with Louise years ago at New Britain Memorial Hospital. Even though I haven't seen her for quite some time I remember her well. She was kind & gentle with a great smile that revealed what was in her heart. The picture you chose of her captured it so well. That's just how I remember her. My sincerest sympathy to all of you.

Your Mom was one of the people that we all aspire to be one day. Her heart was always open and shared with everyone she met, even if it was only a glance. Please know our prayers are with you all

To Everyone Who Cherished Louise, Although I only spent a small amount of time with Louise when she visited Kristen in Hawaii, it was enough time to see how much she loved life and those close to her. Her energy to enjoy all the small things in life was contagious! I remember vividly the time we were all having dinner, the next thing you know Louise, Kristen, and I are taking jumping shots on the beach =) Even though I know this an extremely difficult time for everyone close to Louise (especially Kristen and Matthew), my heart goes out to you both. I hope memories like the one I mentioned ease all the emotions you are going through. -olivia

Kristen and Matthew, Words cannot express how sorry I am. I have worked with your Mom at Southington Care Center for the last 9 years and she was just the sweetest, kindest, caring person. I will always remember stopping in work with my son and your mom would always give him M&Ms and it made his day. She has left us much too soon. She was always so proud of the two of you and always beamed when speaking of you. She will be dearly missed and forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. You are both in my thoughts and prayers. My Deepest Sympathy, Lisa Stevens

A very dear, kind person who endured much anguish in the last few years of her young life, she will be missed terribly by all that knew her. Her smile and blonde curls are etched in my mind and her sweet disposition in my heart. My thoughts are with Matthew & Kristen at this most difficult time. Marlene

Dear Kristin and Family.. Deepest sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your mother. I remember vividly her and care and compassion when Jess was sick during high school. I also lost my mother to pancreatic cancer. I can only imagine how brave she was through such a devastating disease. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May all your memories ease your grief.
