Ken was a very special person we admired so much. We will remember his willingness to help, his determination, Thanksgiving dinner, his hot chili and even hotter peppers stuffed with tuna, his trips to Vermont, his kindness, his clever Christmas grab bags, his love of reading, his courage, his love of family, his upbeat spirit, the caring and joy he gave others. We will cherish the time we had with Ken and we will truly miss him. Love Linda and Ahmed

I was so sorry to hear about Ken. He came to work at the Litchfield Superior Court when my father Al Fretts retired. I've worked at the Litchfield Court for about 29 years now and it was a pleasure to know Ken while he was at our court. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Fondly, Cindy Marshall

Ken's Uncle Pete introduced us to Ken right before he moved in with him on Pondview Drive. My sister and I have fond memories of Ken letting us garden with him and him giving us candy for simple things like just spelling our names correctly. He was a huge part of my life while growing up and I will miss his advice and his kind words of encouragement whenever I would see him. He will be missed. Debbie, Stacy, and Lindsay...I hold you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Auntie Debbie, Thank you for bringing Uncle Ken into our lives. He was such a kind and thoughtful person. Anytime someone needed help, he was always there. We couldn't even slow him down when he started to get sick. He did a great job remodeling Natalia's room and every time we walk in there we think of him. We are going to miss his endless stories, his pranks and his cooking. Uncle Ken, we love you and miss you very much! Joe, Melody, Natalia and Evan

Words can't describe how sorry I am for your loss. Thinking of Ken brings back great memories of how much time I spent with your family since childhood, your house was like my second home for many years! Ken was a great person and always treated me like I was part of the family. As we grew older and I began a family of my own, he always made sure to ask how the kids were and of course ask how my mom, brother, grandparents etc. were doing too...always thinking of others! Debbie (and the rest of the family)...my heart goes out to you, I can only imagine the pain and sadness you are feeling right now and I hope you know how much we are all thinking of you and hope that the sun starts to shine your way day by day. Ken....you'll always be in my heart and bring back the great memories Linds and I shared together. Ken, you'll be greatly missed...look down on us and keep us safe xoxo

I'm so sorry about Ken. Ken was a GREAT guy and always happy to help people. During my second year of college, Ken got me an internship with the State's Attorney's Office in the Meriden Superior Court. (This was usually an internship for law students, but Ken was able to get me this position, even after I showed up to the first interview in a t-shirt - I had no idea what I was undefined Ken got me a second interview and set me straight as to how to go about the interview. The experience in the internship became the main reason I went to law school. Thank you Ken. I will always remember what you did for me.

Debbie and family sorry to hear of your loss. Working for Ken's dad as I was growing up I always looked forward to Ken coming up and me helping him. Both him and his father taught me a lot. If you need anything in Vermont please let me know. 802-723-4825
