Obituary of Robert Johnson

Robert D. Johnson 62 of Spreadoak Ln. died Friday January 23, 2009 at his home. He was the husband of Kellie Sullivan Johnson. Robert was born on March 22, 1946 in New Brunswick, NJ. and was the son of the late Donald and Julia Szabo Johnson. He was the former owner of Wheels of Time Co. in New Jersey, a car restoration company. Robert has also served in the Vietnam War as a Army Captain and a member of the Special Forces and a Green Berets Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, William R. Allen of Waterbury, Donald and his wife Nicole Johnson of Texas and Robert Johnson, four daughters Sara and Jessica Allen both of Waterbury, Alice and her husband Philip Parsons of Bay city, Texas and Mary jean and one grandson. He also leaves a cousin Charles Szabo and two best friends Randy Blaine and Sherri Mederski and many brother in laws. He is predeceased by his brother Joseph and a sister Donna Johnson. Arrangements; Funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 28 in the Mulville Funeral Home 270 West Main St. Waterbury at 10:00 AM. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, CT.
