To the family and loved ones of Kathy, I was truly shaken to hear about the loss of Kathy. I met her at Naugatuck Valley when she enrolled in one of my classes. She was one of those people who made the classroom a better place by being there..she had a wonderful energy about her. It was a quiet, thoughtful, generous, and kind energy. I imagine that if she made such an impression on me, who knew her only in the context of a classroom, she must have been truly a powerful presence in the lives of those who knew her really well. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.

Kathy was one of a kind. She always had a smile and was always upbeat. I really liked her alot. I enjoyed working with her. I am so very sorry for your loss. Kathy used to go to my mother's home to cut her hair and they just adored her at George B Lewis II. When I got sick with MS, Kathy told me to hang in there and listen to the Doctors. She was a very strong woman and I will always remember her. I know that we will all be together again someday. Until, then Godspeed. My thoughts and prays are with you all. In Gods Love, Roberta Shaw (Former First Student Driver)

Kathy was one of my on line students at Naugatuck Valley Community College. While I did not get to meet Kathy directly you would not know that she was battling an illness. She participated in my course in every way making sure that she got her assignments in on time. Kathy was a true committed student in every way. John Izzo

To the Family of Kathy, So sorry to hear about Kathy's passing. I first met her many years ago when she worked at Cutting Crew as a hairdresser. She had so much patience with my daughter when she was little in cutting and braiding her hair. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family--especially her mother and daughters during this difficult time.

To all of Kathy's Family and Friends, I went to high school with Kathy and we lost touch over the years and it deeply saddens me that we didn't have time to reconnect. She was a beautiful, gentle, and kind hearted soul who should have been with us for many more years to come. Her smile was so bright it could light up any room. My thoughts and prayers are going out to Kathy and her family at this most difficult time as are my familys also. Her daughters will have the most beautiful guardian angel in Heaven to watch over them. With Deepest Sympathy, Patti, Mike, and June Toole

Heaven has certainly gained another angel! While our friendship was short, I will always remember Kathy's smile and caring nature. We drove many weddings together at our part time job and it gave us time to share our own stories about family, children and friends with each other. I only wish I could have said goodbye to her in person. To her family and children, you should know just how special Kathy was. I shall miss her always. I know we will meet again.

"Debbie" will always have a special place in my heart; she has from the first time I spoke with her until the last. She always spoke so loving of you all, her family, and was especially proud of Jess and Mel. I'll always remember "Debbie" and "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha" and the fun we had in class, I had more fun because they had to study and I didn't. Kathy was a brave and positive person who met all challenges head on with great determination and a smile. No better legacy for her girls. I still hate Country Music, but at least when I hear it now, I'll have something to smile about before I turn the station. Earth's loss, Heaven's gain.

To my Best Friend Kathy! I am at such a loss for words for the first time in my life! You have been the greatest friend anyone can have ever asked for, I love you so much and miss you terribly! You have such an amazing family and group of friends that supported and loved you through all the good times and bad times in your life! You were the concrete that held all the bricks together for everyone, you were never selfish even at your most painful points you were still there for everyone protecting them and letting everyone think you were ok. I am honored that you let me be part of your life for so long! We have so many memories together that I will never forget and quite a few that I couldn't share with anyone! This summer I will be in Myrtle Beach horseback riding on the beach and I know even though you will not be there with me physically you will be there spiritually. I will hold you very close to my heart and honor your legacy for the rest of my days! I will see you soon my my friend! I love you! Alisha
