I was until recently his mailman and was just informed about Ed's passing today. We had ritual every morning were Ed and his faithful companion "Licky" would get the mail and I would give Licky his morning treats (which Ed supplied for me). He was my favorite customer. Such a warm kind heart. I will truly miss him and wish him eternal happiness with his dear wife who I never met but got to know somewhat threw him. God Bless, Ed.

To the Family, We were deeply sadden to learn of Ed's passing while on vacation. We had spoken to Ed just prior to leaving and he wished us well. We had known Betty and Ed for over thirty years and considered them close friends. We shared several hobbies and Scouting with us. They were always there for us, helping in any way they could. As family you will miss them more, but they are now together again. We will do our best to keep their memories alive. With our prayers, Lester and Virginia Auchmoody

Dear Grandpre and Seymour Families, I was saddened when I heard the news of Edwin's passing. The loss of a loved one is never easy. A few years ago I lost my grandfather to diabetes. Although words of consolation cannot substitute for the life of a loved one we can take comfort in them. As a Bible reader I have drawn comfort from the fact that there will be "a resurrection of life" as Jesus promised in John 5:29. Afterwards we will be witnesses of the answer to Jesus' model prayer in Matthew 6:10 for "God's kingdom to come. His will to take place, as in heaven, also upon the earth." I cannot wait to be reunited with my grandfather, as I am sure you cannot wait to be reunited with your uncle Edwin and your aunt Betty. Again I send my deepest sympathies, Lauren

Uncle Ed: You will be missed. You have touched many lives through your caring and giving of self. It's a comfort to know that you are at peace with Aunt Betty. The Lord will surely bless you and welcome you into his Kingdom.
