Obituary of Helen Gregory

Mrs. Helen B. (Bunce) Gregory, 71, of Plymouth died Sunday April 12, 2009 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late David H. Gregory. Helen was born October 28, 1937 in Waterbury a daughter of the late George E. and Helen G. (Foley) Bunce and has been a Plymouth resident for the past 40 years. She was a graduate of Saint Francis Xavier Grammar School and after graduating from high school became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was employed as a L.P.N. at Waterbury Hospital retiring after many years of service. She had also worked in research at Urology Associates in Waterbury. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, swimming and spending time with her family and many friends. She was a Communicant of St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. She leaves her son Scott D. Gregory of Bristol, her daughter, Deborah Ferris of Thomaston, her brother, Edward Bunce of Waterbury, her sister, Mary Geoffroy of Wolcott and five grandchildren. Funeral services for Helen will be held Saturday at 12 noon at the Mulville Funeral Home 270 West Main Street in Waterbury. Burial will be held at the convenience of her family. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
