Dear Bev and Family: I was so saddened to see that your Dad had passed away. I had gone on the site because Barbara Marzano had passed and found that Jim had also. Please accept our deepest sympathy. I know this is a very difficult time for you and your family. I shall keep you all in my prayers. Sincerely, Lindsay and Bob Paolillo

Jim and Shirley welcomed us into their home on Christmas Eve in 1972, when we were newlyweds, and had no family around to celebrate with. They welcomed our little girls when they came along, and always made us all feel special and part of the family. It meant alot then, and the memory of their generosity is strong and heartfelt. We will miss Jim Sr. but know his kindness and gentleness live on in his son Jim, our dear friend. We will see his twinkle and that smile in the eyes and face of our friend, and he will live on. With warm and heartfelt memories and love to Shirley, Cheryl, Patty, Bev and Jimmy, Michael, Christopher, Chris and Diane. Phil and Dianne

It seems like only yesterday... I was just a little boy, a young man, a proud father, an even prouder grandfather. And through it all, I was mentored by three brothers. These guys were always there for us all. I based my dreams on the ideals they taught each of us everyday through their own strengths, virtues, actions and love. They were each individuals anyone would aspire to be, they showed me the world as it should be, and guided me to lead my life as a proud member of the Welch Family. Not with their words but with their deeds. They went through WWII, heroes in our eyes, one building planes, one building men, and the other dreaming of building on a ship in the Navy. They returned to build homes together... and they succeeded, not just with the homes they sold, but with their own Homes. They showed us all, by their example, what life means and what is really important and what isn't. But this morning... The three brothers passed the reins to the three sons. (& 5 daughters) It is now our turn to try to achieve and pass on, what they bathed us in our entire lives... happiness, wisdom, and family. It's our turn to show our steadfastedness to the next generation. But I don't know how... without them I Love You Uncle Jimmy
