I will always have wonderful childhood memories of spending time with Mrs. Currier, playing with her dog or cats, her tutoring me, or just talking. She stood firm in her beliefs and that always inspired me. She accepted me for the person that I am and I will always remember that. My thoughts are with her family.

Dear Melissa & Chip, Your mother was more than a colleague, she was a friend. As you know she was in charge when I was out of the school, sometimes more than either of us wanted. I never worried and felt comfortable knowing she would handle whatever came up. While we didn't always agree, we respected each other and each other's right to our opinion. As a teacher she knew and wanted the best for her students. As you also know your mother was not one who cared for technology. She was the only one who could cause a computer to freeze by walking into the room. But she was trying and was using technology. I cannot think of anyone I know who was the kind of friend your mom was to Maureen. I admired her for that among other things. We will miss her at St. Peter and I will miss her friendship.

Ray, Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead.

Judy and I were teaching buddies at St.Ann School. We went through a lot as friends, both losing a husband young and of course the trials of all the various personalities in our daily lives. We did together what women do,talk and eat. She was a friend, one to visit and another to talk about running away this summer on some quirky adventure. I had awoken Sunday thinking I would call her that night just to say hello. She was a special person, sweet, patient and yet able to be strong for her friends. I am glad she walked into my life and stayed there for these twenty plus years. Safe and happy journey wonderful lady

Dear Chip, Melissa and Gene, I have had the pleasure of working at St. Peter School for 15 years with your mother. We have shared so many things; laughter, tears, frustrations and dreams. She was a wonderful friend and mentor. I could always count on her to help me figure out how to reach a child, teach a particular subject, bulletin board ideas, whatever--she was never too busy. Your mom was a phenomenal teacher, always searching for new ideas to spark her student's interests and creativity. Over the years your mother and I carpooled to many workshops and retreats together. She often told me that I was the only person she would "let be in control" and drive. Sometimes, though, I think the only reason she came to my house was so she could visit with my two labs--but that's another story. I miss her terribly. I know I will continue to look for her car in the parking lot for a long time and on beautiful warm days, will think of her driving her little blue sports car with the top down. (Cat hair flying all over the place!) I wish you all strength and peace and may happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time.

I want to send my condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Currier over 10 years ago when she was my daughter's teacher and I had the pleasure of her being my sons 3rd grade teacher now. Ms Currier was a good kind hearted person, she was there for her students 100%. I will always remember you for being a kind and good teacher/person. Making sure that they tried their best at everything. The students and parents are going to miss you dearly. Thank You Ms. Currier for being you!.May God Bless you and your family, especially the family. May God give you all the strength to get through this. God Bless.

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. I taught with your mother. I am the Physical Education Teacher. She has been to my home twice and on special days I always gave her something because she was so very kind to me, and helpful especially when I came to St.Peter's 4 years ago in March even though I have been teaching in public school. Your mother meant a great deal to me and I will miss her dearly. Again I am so very sorry and my prayers are with you and your family and I know that not only is she with her husband but with God and is at peace. May God give you all strength and courage to get through this very hard time. I know he will and he will always be with you Cindy Latham Phyhsical Education Teacher ST. Peter's
