Obituary of Yvette Sevigny
Yvette V. Sevigny 93, passed away on June 15,2009 at the Elim Park Baptist Home. She was the wife of the late Leo F. Sevigny of 50 loving years.
Mrs. Sevigny was born on September 7, 1915 in Fall River, MA. She was the daughter of the late Alcidas and Arthemise (Lavoie) Picard. Yvette was married in 1940 and lived in New York until 1998 before moving to Cheshire.
She is survived by two daughters Pauline Pagano of Florida and Jacqueline Kehayas of Colorado, her two sisters Clarice Gagnon of MA. and Florence and her husband George Southland of CA., and her grandchildren Linda and her husband David Jamele Diane Pagano all of Cheshire, Robert and his wife Rachel Pagano of Florida, Joseph and his wife Wendy Rodriguez of CA. and Jennie-Marie Kehavas of CO. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren. Yvette was predeceased by two Brothers Norman and Roger Picard, a sister Lorraine Parent, a son in law Angelo Pagano and a grandson Michael Pagano.
Her family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the staff at Elim Park Skilled Nursing Unit for all the kindness and care shown to Yvette during the four years she resided there. They also thank Vitas Hospice for providing her care and comfort.
Arrangements; A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas Becket Church 435 No. Brooksvale Rd Cheshire on Saturday June 20,2009 at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at church. Burial will be in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5 to 7 pm at The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire 615 So. Main St. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice
