Dear Helen and Family, Our deepest condolences on the passing of a great man and friend. Helen, you and Donald were the first people we met at St. Michael's. You were greeters that first day we came to services. That was the beginning of a cherished friendship. Some of my fondest memories Helen will always be how you poked him and said"sing Donald sing." Every time there was a baptism he would tease and say..Why didn't you warn me I would have come to the earlier service. Then you would give him ..as he called it "the look." Whenever we came back from communion Donald always put his hand out to touch mine. During the time you had the shingles I want you to know that I poked him and said "sing Donald sing" and he would just laugh. Fred and I were blessed for the years we sat behind you and Donald. Your marriage was an inspiration to us and we strive to achieve the same. Though we have been apart for a few years you both remained in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God bless all of you and thank you for the cherished memories. Sincerely, Carlene and Fred Sauer

Dear Helen and family, Please accept my sincere sympathy at the passing of your husband and father Donald. I remember Don very well from the "good old days" when we were growing up and our families spent so much time together. There were many happy outings! It sounds like Don experienced a very full life and stayed very active. Loss of a loved one is never easy no matter what age they were. I hope all of your happy memories will console you at this most difficult time in your lives. I will keep you all in my prayers. Sincerely, Donna Weyh Roberts (daughter of Larry and Marguerite Weyh)
