Obituary of Victor Lugo

WATERBURY- Mr. Victor M. Lugo, 66, of 45 Savings St. passed away late Wednesday evening August 12, 2009 at Bristol Hospital. He was the husband of the late Carmen M. (Abreu) Lugo. Mr. Lugo was born in San Jan, Puerto Rico, August 26, 1942, a son of the late Anastacio and Maria Elena (Sosa) Lugo and came to Waterbury in 1985 from Puerto Rico. He was educated in Puerto Rico and was a retired Chef, having worked in various Restaurants in Conn. and New York during his career. He leaves one son Victor J. Lugo of Chandler AZ; 3 brothers, Luz M. Perez, Enrique Lugo, and Samuel Lugo all of Puerto Rico; one sister, Helda M. Rivera of Anniston, AL. He was predeceased by one sister Nilda Lugo. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 15th at 11 am at the Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave. Burial will be in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Plymouth, P.O.
