My condolences, Dona, on the passing of your mom. I know that she was a landmark at Howland Hughes for so many years, and I remember how fondly you spoke of her. Love to you and Frank.

I was so saddened to hear of your mom's passing. Vera and my mom Ann were quite the pair for so many years up in that rug department at Howland-Hughes. I have many great memories of her..she was always so kind to my mother and to me. Truly a wonderful lady. My thoughts are with you all. Mary

I am so sorry for your loss. Unfortunately I too know how it is to lose a family member in death. I also know that at first it may seem that there is little hope but I have found some of the promises in the Bible to be a comfort in distressing times such as the promise we have in the twenty-fifth chapter of the book of Isaiah where we learn that God, “will actually swallow up death forever and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah [God] will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. (Verse 8) Such promises always help me to see that God does care about each of us and since He, like a loving parent, hates to see us cry he soon plans on getting rid of tragedies that we now have to face. There are so many more promises in the Bible that can encourage us both now and in the future, but I hope this brief scripture helped you as much as it does me.
