Obituary of Louise Day

Mrs. Louise A. (Mauthe) Day, 93 of Waterbury died Friday September 11, 2009 at the Elim Park Baptist Home in Cheshire. She was the widow of James R. Day. Mrs. Day was born November 12, 1915 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Jacob and Anna (Sultzman) Mauthe and was a lifelong Waterbury resident. She was employed at Uniroyal Chemical as a Payroll Clerk retiring in 1970 after many years of service. She had also worked at Lux Clock for 25 years. Mrs. Day was a Communicant of Saint Leo the Great Church where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. She leaves several nieces and nephews and two grandnephews. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Day will be celebrated Monday at 9 a.m. at Saint Leo the Great Church 20 Bentwood Drive in Waterbury. Friends are asked to meet directly at Church. Burial will follow in New Saint Joseph Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Mulville Funeral Home 270 West Main Street, Waterbury has care of arrangements.
