We would like offer our most sincere sympathies for your lost. Ray was truly a fantastic man. We were touched and changed by knowing him and feel blessed to have had his friendship and support, as well as the opportunity to coach his daughter, Amanda. He was instrumental in developing the future of our CHS softball program, as many of our finest athletes were coached by him at one time. We are honored to have shared, in some small way, his remarkable life. He will be missed by all within the Cheshire Softball Family. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you through this difficult time. Love always, Kathleen Hoag & Maureen DiSorbo (CHS Softball)

Debbie, Andrew & Amanda, Words cannot express the the sorrow Laurel and I share with you. Ray was so near and dear to me he was like a brother, We would confide and console each other and often laugh an cry together. You can't work with some special like Ray for 30 years and not know the love he had for his family and friends. He was a prince among men, always thinking about the other guy and how could he help them. His undefined and true concern for others was ever present in his daily duties in our office. He will be sorely missed by us and many many others. Our love always Mike & Laurel Caprio

Debbie, Sending very special condolences to you and your family. Ray was one of my closest friends growing up, and I will always remember you meeting Ray on one of our trips to Europe. All I had to do over the years was think of him, and I would instantly smile and laugh about all the good times we had. Deb, I always remember you spending time at our house with Bert and all of us. My only regret is we hadn't connected in so long; but inspite of that, his smile and very special memories will always be with me. My wife Adrienne also has some special memories of Ray as they grew up in the same neighborhood. He was a great guy and a great friend. Our hearts and prayers are with you and Ray. Sincerely, Paul and Adrienne Morello

Debbie, Andrew and Amanda, I am so sorry to hear about Ray's passing. We were in high school together and although I never knew him well, I kept tabs through a close mutual friend. Ray and I were in the same homeroom (Da...De...) and I just remember him always being upbeat and happy. He wrote as part his yearbook quote, "life is what you make it." It seems to me that he made a great deal of his life and that he touched a lot people. I am sorry for your loss. My family and I will keep you all in our prayers.
