I worked with Lois at Masonic back in the early 1980s. It was my first full time job out of high school and Lois or "bubbles" as we all called her, was an absolute delight. She was always smiling, laughing as were the people lucky enough to be surrounded by her. I developed a close friendship with Bubbles - we went to many Diana Ross concerts together in Connecticut and Massachusetts and always had a great time. We even traveled together to visit Bubbles sister and her husband in Tampa back in the late 1980s, truly it was my pleasure. Over the years, I lost touch with her, as I moved to Boston and lived there for 4 years, then came back to Connecticut. When I was scanning the obituaries in the Record-Journal recently, I was shocked to see her name listed. Where has the time gone? A chill went up my spine when I realized that this friendly, happy soul would no longer be just a phone call away. How I wish I had kept in touch over the years. My heartfelt condolences go out to her loving family. God Bless you Bubs, I'll miss you. Rest in Peace Bubbles !
