Dear Sandy, Murray, Pat, Scott, Mia and Bob, I am very sorry to have read about your Father's passing in the Cheshire Herald. This was the first time I heard of his death. I always enjoyed talking with him and seeing him at the BP gas station buying lotto tickets. He always kept me up to date with the news of all of you. It seems as though I saw him very recently driving his blue car. I am sure you will all miss him very much. My sincere sympathies. Bill Lapman

To Wally Adams Family, I first met Wally when I was a bat boy for my fathers & uncles team the Columbus Auto Body Bears which went on in 8 years be City champs and 6 time state champs and won 2 Regional tournament's and traveled to Florida & California to compete. Wally was the star pitcher, captain and for two years their coach. He was a leader of the team and a great gentleman. He was by far the Best Fast Pitch Pitcher to come out of New Haven. But as a person was respected by his teammates and the general public. Plus a very nice man to me and my family. He became good friends with my Uncles John & Dom but had a special friend ship with my father Ralph and mother Melba. In his professional life he was very succesful at Marlin Firearms Company as its Director of Personnel. The last time I saw him was 15 years ago he stop in to our place of busines to say Hello. It was great to see him. With our deepest sympathy from our family to yours, Vin DiLauro President Columbus Auto Body Works.
