Obituary of Alma Modenese
Mrs. Alma (Brade) Modenese 92, of Waterbury, passed away Friday October 30, 2009 at Saint Mary's Hospital. She was the widow of Joseph P. Modenese, Sr.
Mrs. Modenese was born August 2, 1917 in Wisconsin a daughter of the late August and Emma (Vogt) Brade. She was a longtime Waterbury resident and had been employed at the G. Fox Company for 10 years. She enjoyed the many activities at Wolcott View Manor and loved trips to the beach, traveling, cooking and crocheting. She was a devoted mother and loved spending time with her granddaughters. Mrs. Modenese was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Waterbury.
Alma's family would like to thank the staff of Wolcott View Manor for their care and support.
She leaves her son Joseph P. Modenese, Jr and his wife Lori of Waterbury and her granddaughters, Michelle and Heather Modenese.
Funeral services for Mrs. Modenese will be held Tuesday November 3, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church of Waterbury 88 Cooke Street (at the corner of Grove St.) Friends are asked to meet directly at the Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
