We knew Bernie. We loved Bernie. We sang many songs with him. We spent a Thanksgiving Day with him and we were lucky enough to have sampled his spaghetti. We helped him with the CARE packages to Iraq and we will always have a fond place in our hearts for Bernie. He will surely be missed

To Family and Friends, You have my deepest sympathy and condolences. Throughout our lives, we meet many people. If we are lucky, we meet someone who makes such and impression on us that the person becomes one of the "Unforgettable" people in our lives. I met Bernie several years ago, through my friend Warren Kaye. As I got to know Bernie over time, I realized he had become one of the few "Unforgettable" people in my life. He holds a special place in my heart and when I think of him, his memory will bring a smile to my face. He will truly be missed, but never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Patricia Velardi.

Dear Tommy, Teddy and Holly-- It's been nearly fifty years since my contact, but I just wanted you to know how sorry I am for your loss and for the sorrow and pain you and your families must now endure. If there is one thing I won't forget about Bernie (as well as your entire family) is the kindness and generosity you all showed me when we were neighbors way back then in the southend of Waterbury. I wish you all every possible kindness that the universe can bestow, as well as healed hearts with a rapid renewal of your hope and spirit. I'm sure Bernie is tooling around in heaven in a '54 red Jag and the radio blaring with some rock & roll classics. We'll all meet again in a better place some day. P.S. Tommy, I'm still sorry about your tooth! With sincere sympathy, Bob Dente

Dear Bernie and Family, I will always remember the good times we had at the karaoke shows at Laurel Ridge where you, my brother Rick, Walter Davis and some of the residents would sing. You always kept a positive attitude about your illness. Thank you for being so supportive with Ken during his illness. You are both in heaven now. "When a loved one becomes a memory that memory becomes a treasure" With Deepest Sympathy, Debbie Settani

My sincere condolences and sympathy to Bernie's family and loved ones. We have lost a special and unique human being, a man's man, whom all the ladies loved too. With his hat cocked on his head he swaggered in always making an entrance, fist bumping his friends and fans as he passed. Bernie and I traveled all over CT singing together in many different venues and we shared many meals. In good times we would talk on the phone at length, always roaring with laughter from his outrageous nature and his take on the world. I loved him like an older brother and he will be sorely missed.
