Dear Bea, Robert, Marc & Family, We remember so many good things about Bob it's hard to put them down. He would always come to our house on Christmas morning is one thing we will remember fondly. He was always joyful and certainly friendly. Even though we haven't seen much of him recently we remeber our last visit and as usual he was up beat and happy to see us. Our deepest sympathy, Sincerely, Bob & Joan Maddern

Mrs. Mac, Robert Jr., Marc and family: I can't tell you how comforting it was as a child to hear his beautiful whistle as he approached your house in his Hartz truck after a day of work. His life was full of many more special events, but this one helped to provide a character to our neighborhood that’s unforgettable. My deepest condolences to you all, Scott Maddern

“Cheesh Miller, take a walk From 1969 to 1979 I was gainfully employed by Mr. Mac. Over those years I learned the skill of hustle. The more you hustled, the more you earn. I learned to be street smart, handle large amounts of money and to work fast and smart. I learned that you have to talk and work the crowd. “ Miller Miller talk to the people Mr. Mac would shout to me above some inner city marching band or some loud fife and drum corp. He had a great way of communicating with his unique use of the English language. That experience was part of a foundation for my life. We traveled to every corner of Connecticut and worked most every weekend during those summers. Through out those times Mr. Mac provided for his family, worked multiple jobs, was actively involved in local sports and had great passion for his Yankees. He told great stories and kept up with us kids responding in kind to our sarcasm. All good stuff! His legacy will remain with me and I am sure with many others who were lucky enough to know him. Thanks Mr. Mac. You had a great run!
