Obituary of Stanley Siesicki
CHESHIRE - Stanley Siesicki, 88, passed away March 24, 2012 in Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of the late Shirley (Gaura) Siesicki who passed away in 2003.
Mr. Siesicki was born September 25, 1923 in Bridgeport, the son of the late John F. and Mary (Pietkiewicz) Siesicki. He was a World War II Veteran serving his country in the U.S. Army and was a Forman at Nabisco over 40 years. He was a hardworking, kind and humble man who loved his family and enjoyed nature and the outdoors. He was an active member of the Cheshire Senior Center and their weekly Scrabble Club.
Mr. Siesicki is survived by his son, Stanley Siesicki of AZ; his daughters, Mary Fuller of Canton, Carol Buggeln and her husband Craig of Stonington, Pat Torre and husband Tom of VA; his grandsons David Fuller of Canton and Kent Fuller and his wife Meredith of Mystic; his sister Monica Schneider of Guilford, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife of over 50 years, he is predeceased by his brother Chester Siesicki; his sisters Laura Damon and Helen Siesicki.
The family would like to thank Dr. Richard Kayne of Cheshire and his staff for many years of excellent care. They would also like to thank the nurses, doctors, practitioners, PCA's and the entire staff at Hartford Hospital's B9I unit for their expert and compassionate care.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 29, 2012, 9:15 from the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire 615 S. Main St. to St. Bridget Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday evening March 28, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
