Mark's friendship was a blessing to me. We had so many great times and I always loved his laugh. Twenty years ago, he was there for me the day I got out of treatment. Took me out, made me laugh and reminded me how important our friendship was. My heart goes out to Scott and the rest of the Durkee family. Thanks for the memories. Love, Deb

Mark was one of the greatest people I ever met and became one of my best friends. He was like a Brother to me, and I will never forget him. I am incredibly sad for losing him, as I’m sure many other people feel the same. Mark took me into his family, like a Brother, when I was a young man. If it weren’t for Mark, I may not have completed my Cheshire High School education, and graduated with him back in 1981. I loved Mark, and my deepest sympathy goes out to his family and all the people that his life touched. Sincerely, Rick Bartsch
